This film series is a collection of 10 vignettes produced by the collaboration of 11 directors (two worked together) ranging from industry veterans to novices. Soseki composed ten strange dreams set in various time periods beginning with his contemporary time (the Meiji period) and including dreams set in the age of the gods, the Kamakura period, and 100 years in the future. The series begins with the phrase "I had a dream like this." (Konna yume o mita).
